VIDEO - Freddies Hobbies Indoor Course - Jeep_Guy - 03-18-2008 Guys, I got the opportunity to try out this course a few weeks back....it was cool. Here is a video of a comp at that course. It gives a really good idea as to another style of indoor course, and elements that can be incorporated. Cool! Oh and gratz on the BigSquid position! THANKS!! VIDEO - Freddies Hobbies Indoor Course - AddictedtoNITRO - 03-18-2008 Those were some wicked trucks. That track lookes hard as hell! A lot of time went into that! VIDEO - Freddies Hobbies Indoor Course - Jeep_Guy - 03-18-2008 It was fun to play on that course for a few hours on a quiet Sunday morning. It has some difficult parts. I am certain that the 1.9 guys have a harder time with it than the 2.2 guys. This is the course where I shattered my front input shaft INSIDE the axle housing. This place plans on building a large outdoor course as the ground thaws. The place was cool....and the owner really was friendly. VIDEO - Freddies Hobbies Indoor Course - AddictedtoNITRO - 03-18-2008 where is it? proximity to joliet VIDEO - Freddies Hobbies Indoor Course - Jeep_Guy - 03-18-2008 about 6 hours due EAST.....it is SOUTHEAST of Cleveland. Near AKRON, OH. I go to that area for work. VIDEO - Freddies Hobbies Indoor Course - AddictedtoNITRO - 03-18-2008 wow. I was hopeing it was a little closer lol VIDEO - Freddies Hobbies Indoor Course - BJoe - 03-18-2008 Sweet course and sound track, what did they use for the surface? IT might of also had some fiberglass in it. Tires did not really tear it apart. VIDEO - Freddies Hobbies Indoor Course - Jetboat - 03-19-2008 there is a mini build thread over on RCC for the course....I almost want to say they used dental plaster. VIDEO - Freddies Hobbies Indoor Course - BJoe - 03-19-2008 OK, I wondered if it was some kind of plaster. |
