brushless hyper 7 - -nick - 06-29-2008 i know I made a thread in multimedia, but I'm making this thread, and I'll keep it updated w/ pics, vids, ect. first, two test videos: first: (nsfw audio) http://youtube.com/watch?v=NeM3_AE2OIo]YouTube - Hyper7 initial test second: http://youtube.com/watch?v=lkBd-skRiGs]YouTube - Hyper 7 5s brushless second test. second, here's the pics from the other thread: and last for now, latest pictures of my new battery mount: I had these two metal plates, and two hard drive heatsinks laying around, and came up with this: quick stop to the hardware store: cg is kinda high, but these were the shortest threaded standoffs i could find. I used the grommets between the standoff and the plate, hopefully obsorbing some of the bigger hits: hopefully i can find someone to video tape racing tommorow. brushless hyper 7 - -nick - 06-29-2008 well.. didn't race today, but still took it out again.. didn't realize throttle epa was at 80 for the first half of this video, then changed it to 125. blew out one of the preglued tires in minutes, went back to my worn out set, and took two jumps, and the motor screws loosened.. later on, we did some more jumps, but didn't get video of those.. second jump broke both of the servo mount/standoffs, straightened the wheels manually, and on the third jump, motor screws loosened again.. time for some loctite.
