Tonight at work was intersting...
My Subway is in a plaza with other buisnesses, a DQ, a realator, a small physical rehab place, a tanning salon, a liquor store, and then us at the end.
I'm working today, it's relatively dead. We see two guys walk by, and I'm like "don't come in don't come in don't come in" (as I am with most people walking by... psssh I don't want to help them lol) welp about 2 minutes later we see them run back the other way, around the back of the plaza... Don't really get why they're running so we just continue on with our work. I clock out (7:25ish) and as I'm walking out the door, the phone rings and the person on the other end is my mom.
My mom happens to be a police dispatcher for Joliet PD...
They got a call that the tanning salon 2 doors down was JUST robbed... by the guys we saw running past our store. My mom was like the police will be there to talk to you in a minute... I'm like OK and then it kinda kicked in.... I was nervous/shaken as HELL. So yeah. I ended up staying till close (just 2 girls working...didn't want them alone) and t here were still a shitload of cops outside when we left.
Welp, that's my story, thought I would share haha.
