Anybody see that Helicopter at Rockpile? - satoch - 08-09-2005 Man that was the first time I've ever seen a gas powered helicopter. That thing was amazing!! Anybody see that Helicopter at Rockpile? - Notochord - 08-12-2005 are flying helicopters really really as hard as people say it is because when i went to venture hobbies they have a rc flight simulator thing that you can try. i tried it and i could fly it fine i could do backflips and i could fly it upside down fine and ive never flown it before. is it just cause the flight simulator was really unrealistic????????? I seem to remember him writing about his average flight times being pretty short before crashing. But then there are all different levels of helo's. Some are advertised as simple to control. Maybe his is an advanced control style? Dunno.
