HPI Blitz - Gene - 04-11-2010 So I just picked up a HPI Blitz the other day. I have yet to get a chance to take a ride down to Leisure hours raceway to test it out. But my first impressions are that its seems like a good truck but feels cheap. I come from an era where the AE products I used had an aluminum tub and weighed a ton! So a lot of newer products feel cheap to me. I do have to upgrade my batteries, as they are lower mah sport packs. I will step up to Lipos sometime in the next month. Overall the car handled fine in the baseball field, onto the grass and then on the black top. I made a quick jump and it was easy to correct the nose by either tapping the brakes or hitting the throttle. However, if you tap the brakes twice it throws it into reverse. The truck runs smooth and is quiet. The steering servo is rather weak and slow. here's a few pics Now that the weather is getting nicer, I'm going to try and get some action shots. I just hope that my 4 year old daughter can pilot the car (or use my camera!)
