Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-06-2005 MBX5 buggy roller w/hopups..... Loaded with Racers Edge stuff and some Mugen option parts. When I say loaded, I mean almost everything (if not everything). Ready to race after you drop in your electronics and motor/pipe. I bought this buggy for $400 about 1 gallon ago. It's in great shape. I will sell for $325. You will be getting a starter box with battery and charger (this didn't come with the original $400 purchase price), 2 sets of crimefighters (half worn, but very usable), a body, and of course the wing setup. Everything is ready to go. I've done really well with buggy being that it was my first buggy I ever raced. It pretty much drives itself. The price of $325 is firm and whoever buys it will be getting a kick a$$ deal. This is a top notch race buggy. Any questions, please ask. You can call me if you want to chat about it instead of going back and fourth on this thread, it's up to you 630-546-3245 - Gabe Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - snakebite46 - 09-06-2005 What are you doing with that P5 ? Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - bigjs - 09-06-2005 Sweet ass deal!!! I've seen it raced many times, and it's a great buggy. Did you get something else, or are you done with 1/8 buggy? Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Michowski - 09-06-2005 how bout 300 pick up? Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-07-2005 Mich, How about $325 pick up since your getting a killer deal anyway! I should be selling this thing for more! I just want to get the $325 and buy a couple revo things. The P5 and OS2050 will most likely find their way into the revo if it's do-able with a BB kit and bump box. So can it be done? Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-07-2005 BTW, it was never $325 shipped, people needing shipping would need to add money! Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - snakebite46 - 09-07-2005 Gabe, I'm sure it can be done somehow. If thats what you wanna do, I'd talk to Finn since he was one of the first guys to stuff a BB in his Revo. He had that VZB in his. Thats gonna be insane if you get that to work =) Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-07-2005 I'll just de-tune the motor and it should come off a 30 min main around 210F with power to spare. I'm just tired of trying to pull all the power I can out of the TM while it's running at 280F. I would rather have the same power as the TM running at 210F. Plus the BB motors are just so much more reliable IMO. I have this buggy posted on 4-5 boards and it's going to go quick! Jump on it now if you want it. I have many people interested at the moment. Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - snakebite46 - 09-07-2005 Right on. You'll have more power than the TM even running at 160. =) Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Mr. Tune - 09-07-2005 gabe, you crazy! LOL, the TM is already almost too much for the revo, and you're gonna put in the P5? If it works out for ya pretty good, I'm going to big block power too . I've always had better luck with big blccks anyway. Would make alot of sense for me to toss one in the revo in the future. I'm just not sure how the rest of the truck will hold up to the power. Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Michowski - 09-07-2005 gabe you must have a bad tm, Mine makes more then enough power to race and it runs consistantly at 220-230 all day long. Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-07-2005 I don't have a bad TM, mine is Fast! And if your motors run so good Mich why do you constantly buy a new one, I know your not putting 6-10 gallons on each one. That would mean you used over 20 gallons in the last year and you don't even come out often (you've had like 3-4 OS motors). Sounds like your the one whos had bad OS motors. Mine runs fine, it just runs around 260-280 in it's peak power. Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-07-2005 I just figure why push a motor to it's limits all the time, drop a P5 in there and take it easy (yet still keep up) Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Michowski - 09-07-2005 i go through motors because there not that reliable for a long term life in them. Ive averaged about 3-4 gallons on the tm but now i finally found a fix for the tm and now i should be able to get like 6-10 gallons out of them. Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Mr. Tune - 09-07-2005 What's not reliable about the tm mich? Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-07-2005 Mine seems reliable. There are quite a few other people that have had good luck also (over 8 gallons). There are tons of people with problems though. I think it's the user personally. All the people that have tons of gas through them have never taken them apart, seems all the people that "maintain" their motor have a short life. I'm leaving mine together until it pukes on it's own. Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Obsessive R/C - 09-07-2005 If it aint broke don't fix it! Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 09-07-2005 If it ain't broke....bash it until it breaks, then upgrade it. Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-08-2005 This is still for sale guys $325 +shipping (if needed) starter box w/batt and charger included! Holds a great charge, lasts about a month before needing to be recharged! Buggy Owners Manual included! (w/Mugen stickers) If your looking to get into 1/8 scale buggies, here is your chance at a great car for a cheap price! Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Obsessive R/C - 09-08-2005 Well.....as long as it comes with stickers!!! Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-08-2005 :joy: you know how to paint :p: Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Obsessive R/C - 09-08-2005 What kind of starter box is it?? Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Tex - 09-08-2005 ofna universal. it works good with the buggy, lines right up and is smooth to use. Mugen MBX5 roller (SOLD) - Michowski - 09-08-2005 not to try and get off subject again but Rd racing has written up a very nice and detailed thread on his site about the .18 os motors prematurely wearing out to fast. Just a heads up to people running these motors since we talked about that in this thread http://www.rdracingproducts.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=974 |
