yea I got it but it looks like there is no batt case on it. I didn't think running with tie straps around the batts is good. I was wondering if I could work a evader batt box into the rear bumper somehow or put a new version one on there somehow

true, open battery...it zip ties on the plate hanging off back there. The new GT2 has the box for the battery.

this is the only picture on my computer that comes close to showing the battery mount, and currently the battery is off the truck, sorry.

Buy that motor if you want one to bash with. DO NOT RACE IT. I had one in my FT GT. The thing was a blast but it would shred spur gears and had too much power.You could pick the front wheels up at any time. I think I shredded a few wheels as well (when they used the pins.)

Addicted, I have a .18 cvrx that is for sale. No one was biting on it so I drilled the stripped head bolts to take apart the engine as I never did before and wanted to see what everything looks like. Piston and sleeve are in good shape, but I forgot if I did any damage to the case or the head when I drilled it. LMK if you are interested. I can let it go for really cheap. 1 3/4 gallons on it.
