The 528xsp is comparable to the OS30vg in terms of performance, with the OS30vg having slightly more top end. I've had a chance to compare with john (Six V6) here in several drag races and the 30vg usually out ran his buggy.
It was my buggy a Jammin X1cr w/30vg and jp3 pipe, against his K3 w/528xsp and a NR pipe (not sure which nr pipe) John would have more info on that. Thats not to say I dominated his buggy, the cars were very close but the 30vg would walk away after about 200ft. Explosive is the way I would put the powerband. At Monster Jam the surface so was so rough the buggy would bounce everywhere as the ruts were as tall as the tires sometimes. But every time those wheels hit the ground the buggy was an absolute rocket. The surface was so rought that slamming on the brakes was usually enough to send me into endo's nose first. _________________________ I know you are using it in a truggy but the two motors were in similar vehicles so a comparison worked there. The 528xr would dominate my 30vg, no contest. The low-end is about the same with the 30vg possibly having even more torque, but the 528xr just kept on screaming, screaming right past where the 30vg would stop pulling.
