Except that it is the real thing. That is used by professional drifters as often as they use the power over. At speed there often isn't the torque to do a power over, so they flick it instead.

Yeah. FWD drifting is "geyher" than RWD drifting, but you have to make do. I figured if I wanted to have fun sliding around in an empty parking lot I might as well do it close to the right way, without dragging the e-brake the whole time while sliding in a straight line.

Hey man the guy at the dealer said if I beat on the damn car it would last longer. The only ones that have problems are the ones that are driven nice and easy all the time. I have not had a single problem that the 03's were supposed to have. Haha

And as long as I take care of it I can beat on it every now and then.

Allow me to clarify.... my friends neighbor who works at the dealer. He was telling me what sensors I could unplug to throw the correct codes so the dealer would replace all of the stock problem parts for free. Haha. I haven't had a problem so I didn't though. Anything that goes to hell will be replaced with something better.

All cars have issues. It's just when you talk to someone that works with the SAME cars every day that yo uhear about all of the problems at the same time. The IV gen GTI's had tail lights go out, antenna bases, coil packs, and a couple other things. All of those are cheap fixes. Their motors are solid though.
