If you have a starter box for your buggy get one that can plug into it, it will only work if you have a power panel though. If not just get a dynamite or duratrax one. If you need the charger I think it is like $20, if you don't then it is like $12.

I use a Hangar 9 glow plug igniter. It not the longest one they have out but it's pretty long. I have 2 extra Dynamite ones I could sell you. I'm not sure if the batteries are any good in them because I haven't charged them for over 2 months. PM me if you want them.

I got an old dynamite starter box, but is set up for 10th scale truck and I need to change over to 1/8th, and I have a power panel from an Ofna starter box which i'm sure I can make work on this one! I seen some nice Du-bro ignitors w/meters in the top of them, was curious what they cost? Thanks TJ

Metered Dyanamite: around $12.
Metered Dynamite with charger: around $20.
Both come with batts.

I just use whatever the blue on is. I have had the metered one say dead plugs are good, and good plugs are dead so I don't trust it.

Thats the one I'm talking about.
I have that one and it has lasted about 3 years. It doesn't stay on the motor, but as long has you hold it there it will light the plug, they all loose the grip on the plug after a while, even the the twist ones.

I am going to be switching to the one that just plugs into the power panel though.

I just got one of those yesterday, used it for the fist time at LHR today. So much easier than trying to find the loose one when you set it down somewhere.
