is there offroad racing at leisure or just indoor carpet? i've been wanting to head down there for a while and was thinking if theres a 1/18th offroad I could bring all my trucks down there... I know there is open practice that i could go down for and bring those out there but is there any organized 1/18th offroad? (I have a mini-t, rc18 and a mini quake, so i could cover 2wd or 4wd classes.)

Isn't it three cars make a class? Bring a few friends on electric night and race the big indoor track.

yea, that'd be cool. i've been trying to get some buddies interested in getting 1/18ths so we all have one scale that is the same. i'll definitely work on that. I'd probably come down a few times before to run some open practice time, its a bit harder to convince my parents to let me take the car down to joliet for the day.

Heard that. You're pretty far north. Maybe there's something in the Milwaukee area? Trackside Hobbies is a great resource just across the border in WI. Maybe give them a call.
Or check this thread out http://www.chitownrc.com/showthread.php?t=6153 ChicagoKenji gets around. Maybe he can point you to the spot for 1/18.

yea, i want something outdoor (or indoor dirt tracks) preferrably. I'm just not as much of a fan of indoor as other people.
I checked that place out but id rather be on an dirt track, even if it is way oversized for the trucks. its only about an hour to joliet from here but thats just too far to travel really often. I'd love to find a place more local to race. maybe more like a half an hour from here or 45 minutes. an hour just gets a little long to tell my parents im driving that far. I dont have to tell em but...
