I tried what you did, but with saran wrap instead of a bag. I used a flourescent blue then the flo blue with a drop of black.

I just got my Iwata today. So far just one question. With my paashce, I would completely disasemble to clean ( take out the needle and crown cap and such), but from what the directions say that came with the airbrush, it says to only completey take it a part if absolutely necessary. Just putting water in the color cup and spraying it will do the job?

You'll end up taking it down once in a while. With faskolors, it's easy to clean it with hot water and windex. It gets it 90-95% clean. I take mine apart after each job is done and give it a good cleanout.

pick up some autoair restorer for cleaning best stuff for getting out water colors

Be warned about that cleaner restorer product....it clouds lexan so don't use anywhere near your bodies. If it's on your hands, it will leave your fingerprints in the plastic!
03-22-2007, 11:20 AM
Thouroghly rinse the airbrush out with water after reassembly also...you don't want to leave the restorer inside on the internals.
