It just sucks... Q101 was good when they were playing what was new. II'm sick of turning it on and hearing the same old metallica or some slow rocky poppy crap. They dissappointed me and now the station I fell back onto is gone. I hope they get less listeners now than when the were the zone. I have a huge 94.7 the zone banner proudly displayed on my wall... I may need a R.I.P. 94.7 on the back of my car...

I've got about 16 gigs of stuff on my harddrive. I search the web for foreign stuff. I like metal with vocalists that can sing and guitarists that can play lead. That isn't happening in America today.

Know who set the crowd on fire at the Gigantour? Not Megadeth, sure as hell not Boboflex Q101 rap/rock crap, it was SymphonyX on the small stage. A bunch of long haired mid 30's guys from Sweden that absolutely shread!!! It was awesome to see a group that 20, 30 AND 40 somethings loved. The pit was massive!

I been to Penny Rd. Pub for a couple shows.

Well let me throw my opinion in here about 94.7. All I used to hear on ZONE was old AC/DC, metallica, etc.... Hardly any newer stuff. Granted I don't listen to rock stations all that much. I really will not miss 94.7 at all.

I like 107.5, 92.3, B96 and other stations like that. I was raised around Rap and R&B. My first tape was MJ Thriller, and my first vinyl was SugarHillGang. I have been breakdancing since I was 5.

In my hoods that I grew up in either you DJ, MC, Breakdance, or do graffiti. (or all of the above). Not to be confused with gangbangin' or drug dealin', I was never into that stuff.

I grew up on the north and south sides, my family is all southside 35th and Winchester and Hoyne park. Spent most of my teens at 35th and winchester, went to DeLaSalle HS. My best bud in the world had a band (two actually) that used to play up at Penny Rd Pub( I think), They called themselves Jughead and the other was One Way Street, my bud was the lead guitarist and singer for JugHead.
