I'll have my GS Storm... I just requested the day off at work. I may have a rock crawler by then but I doubt it. And my storm will probably still be in buggy form...

This is really looking to be an awesome event! I have a GPS that can record top speed. I have used electric tape to strap it on the truck. I'll bring it along.

It is on a weekend. Keep in mind, not all people have Mon-Fri jobs.

Great time and you picked the perfect time to go there. Depending on which airport you land at, expect a 2 hour ride to the other side of the island. Amazing scenery on the ride.
Congrats dude.
thats exactly what we are doing. what sandals resort did you do? we are going to the one that is not the golf resort. i think its called hecyne. wow, this is freeky.

Too freaky that you guys picked the same spot to get married....
Maybe there is more to "Astrology" than people give credit.

Things to stay away from.............
Dont leave the resort !!!!
I think there were 5 places to eat there. I liked them all except the French place.
If you guys are out in the ocean later in the afternoon, keep an eye out on your wife, mine got pummeled by some big ass waves.
Other than that, I like the place.

It was one of those moments were I wish I had it on tape.....I was laughing at first until I saw the look of horror on her face. Then, being the genius I am, I decided to see what would happen if I let a big wave hit me. Needless to say, that undertoe was brutal. I lost my shorts, and was swept up on shore about 20 feet with my ass scratched up bad.

This guy I met at the place, (my drinking buddy for the week) saw me do that, next thing you know, we had like 5 other guys sitting out there waiting for waves to come in. It was hilarous...
Sorry for the hi-jack. Back to our regular scheduled program.

Hi everyone. Sorta new here. I was checking for tracks and just realized that Tinley Park and RSJ in Libertyville are closing up. Seems theres no where to go anymore. (I know theres Joliet and DeKalb, but I live in Oak Park, and Oak Park HT doesnt race anymore, and everthing else is so far away.)
BUT, then I come across this site and see that you guys bash down in the forest preserves. I drive by them every day on my way to work! So, I think I may try showing up to this. (BTW My birthday is 11/3) I don't think I'll have my T3 ready to play, but I'll try and bring something out. Mostly I want to meet people that are into the hobby like I am. So, maybe I'll see you guys there. Thanks.
