LMAO its all the new e-bayers getting tricked into that.
I saw an auction when the PS2 first came out that ended for almost 400 something and the guy was just selling the box with receipt.

Wow... and I don't think that there is anything e-bay can do because it was perfectly legit. I kind of want to try it. :-)

Looks like one of his own shill bidds won the item, and he left a neg just to be consitent. You would think that since no one ever pays, he would give up.

I wonder why they do not pay? I mean if they are confused during bidding you would think that confusion would follow them all the way to Paypal.

And you have almost nothing to lose, just the listing cost. But you do have to go through a hassle of an Unpaid Item if they won't pay, otherwise you still pay a Final Value Fee based on the sale price. That's why the guy HAS TO leave neg fb, to avoid paying those costs.
EBay does not moderate disputes. If you have a problem, you have to pay Square Trade or get a lawyer involved to collect your sales. I had a guy reneg on a $3550 motorcycle I listed. Even for that much money it isn't worth the legal hassles to enforce the "legally binding contract" thatyou enter into when you bid on eBay. And everyone knows it. That's why scammers like this guy are running their games.
If you are going to try it, don't tarnish any existing account you have with eBay, start a new one.

That's one thing I hate about eBay the most, I've not been able to find anyway to remove negative feedback other than by paying Sqare Trade. I've called, written, everything, they won't move a finger unless you send them some cash.

LOL. funny people. People who spend money to ask questions before buying. Especially online. If i was going to spend more than $100, I would do a little research first.

You know what though The majority of Late model C4-C6 owners are all old weird men that buy Corvette logo everything from pants, underwear, chrome junk with corvette logos, can cozy's, to toilet seats, and posters if its got a corvette on it they will buy it no matter what the cost. I had 3 RT 66 raceway Corvette show posters Never cut for sale that I was given after I painted the lobby a printing shop. I sold each on on ebay a month apart and 2 of the 3 of them sold for over $40 because 2 guys were bidding against eachother! Both were buying everyhitn with corvettes on them fo stupid amounts of money.

This yutz has even tried selling AMT/ERTL's SnapFast Chevy Tahoe (an unassembled dealer promo that sells for about $13.00 retail if I remember right) for $40+, and I think he was claiming it had a $60 retail value.
