If people can put BL systems into 18t's and go 55-60 why not a nitro 1/18 TC? Make mine a big block please.

a .12 in a 1/18th is a BB...lol They usually go with like a .061 or something (and still haul the mail with those)

I remember running .049's in airplanes. They didn't even have exhaust systems. They just ported right out the side of the cylinder! Still they weren't as loud as the Revo and RS4!
got paint?

There was a guy on the showme board (motomitch) who made a nitro mini-t (2) years ago. It had a .061 and was wicked fast and torquey. He was selling "nitro conversions" on ebay for the mini-t's. He's a real good fabricator/machinist

Yep. And similar to Xmods but nicer details. More upgradeable (if that's a real word).
I like running the Xmods but you need a perfect flat floor, like hardwood (good drifting!) or smooth racing carpet to really make them work.
It might be cheap, crappy RC but in Feb, it's better than no RC!

no actually it was a bit shorter (maybe 2-3 inches) than an average 1/10 on road and it was nitro.

Xmods are sweet when hooked up. You should have seen some of the mini's (zipzaps) that Six had...lol...I think they did like 20mph and he would jump them...it was hilarious...maybe he still has the pics somewhere?

eBay is full of guys selling 6 and 7 cell conversions of Xmods, along with electronics mods to the ESC and steering servos, big block electric mototrs, etc...

You can easily drop $200 into one and get it flying. Then you really need the carpet track setup. Or a school gym floor with clean tile/wood.

I had a Xray M18 (before it was stolen), brushless, and it was fast as hell, and handled decently. I imagine that the nitro verison will be just as great. But I would love to see a nitro 18T.

i have a mini-z monster (1:30 scale) and a totally decked out ( almost $230 into it) x-mod(1:28 scale). they are both very quick for theit size and both having 35-40 turn motors in them. once i get(if i do get) my lithium-ion upgrade for my xmod, it will do close to 38 mph on a tamia 4wd speed checker

ya xmods u can do alot to and not feel bad if u mess it up big time cuz its ratshack and i mean rather cheaply made and u can get parts easily from them. i love em just cuz they can be beaten up and stull not break along with lots of other abuse.

That thing is awesome! I bet it would be sweet on the new leisure outdoor track
(parking lots would suck with it!)

None the less a cool car. I wonder what happens when you drop a NR.12 in there
