Revo?
#26
I loved mine. Rarely broke and rarely if ever kept me from running. Dont forget its all about driver also. Lots of people love to land jumps with WOT and if you do that obviously something has gotta give eventually. Drive it nice and it will be good to you.

the teckno radio case and wing are a must have, single sterring servo is also a must have and also grind down the bulkhead the slayden way so you get a lot better turning radius.

I have to disagree on the center diff. My buddy had an EB Mod 18TZ in his revo with the center diff. The had OK acceleration, but when he threw the stock tranny back in there it ripped.

he must have had something really wrong then because i have an AXIAL .28 in mine with the stock tranny with center diff, if anything the center diff will control the power and put less strain ont he tranny, not the opposite, since when you jump the fron wheels will spin at a different rate then the rear ones, the diff helps out a ton here, now with no center diff you can be apinning the tires alot hit the ground and you jolt the whole tranny.

i have never even stripped a spur gear, and i use a plastic one, and i go full throttle all the time with my BB revo, when it hits second gear it pops a wheeli, and thats witht he center diff, so that will give you an idea of how much power the axial .28 has

i forgot that it comes with 100K diff, not nearly good enough for anything with some power so he was probably diffing out the whole time, i used 300K that way when all the power isnt transfered to the rear tires

i sure know it wasnt the tranny itself because i havent even stripped a plastic spur gear yet and i run a 18t CB and 34t spur

I have the center diff, it does wonders for turning. My accel is alot slower at the moment, I have to tear apart the tranny and get 300k in there, it helps a TON. Because the back wheels grab and the front wheels usually start to spin out of control. (Balloon)

if memory servs me i have 75k up front and 50k in rear, its either that or vise versa, sorry its been a while since i set my diffs up, but once you get it dialed in your good to go

slayden runs (with smaller, light tires like holeshots) 50f 500c 30r

with heavier tires like pythons or 40 series you can get away with 30f 300c 10r
