What's everyone do for a living?
#26
Firesprink, no BS you really might be on to something there!!!

I've seen people outside of their homes trying to use a garden hose but the smoke gets to them. (Where's Rocco when ya need him?) Big sprinkler heads 10' in the air spraying large amounts of water around the perimeter of the property and on the house just might work.

Obsessive R/C Wrote:Yes, actually they are one of the suppliers that we use. We manufacture almost all of our own parts, but some things are just less expensive to purchase from a distributor. Most everything is bought in bulk hardwood, re-sawn, glued up and machined in our shop.

If you ever are looking for a new supplier... I work for Midwest Jobbers Inc. we carry a large line of L.J. smith stair parts and rails. We are in St. Charles and have be around for over 50 years

you dont even need them that high. a vertical side wall at city pressure will spray 15' at abou 12 gallons per min. a simple pump will up that to 60- 100 gpm. and a 12' spray patern means you onlt need on every 16' and that would give you plenty of over spray. (and they wonder why we go to school for 5 years to learn this)

The wildfire lawn sprinkler is a great idea, untill a conservationist complains that you're killing something or wasting precious water with them.
