Well the day started out pretty good for me, my practice laps were good enough to impress Mike Czech, LOL, the track was damp and traction was good in morning. By my first qual the track was like a sandbox, just loose as hell and no traction and very dusty. My first qual I was way hesitant to use power, but I turned smooth laps I ran PL m2 bowties. My 2nd qual I was 1 lap off of TQ with PL cut knuckles . My 3rd qual was shyt with PL m2 crimes, I Was on my lid more than ever, it was just flipping end over end on every jump, partially to my poor throttle control, and I think the broken shock was helping a tad as well, I ran it with 3 shocks because an O-ring busted loose on my right front shock and I lost all my fluid, but I did finish the qual. I finished 5th in the C-main with PL cut knuckles( I NEED PRACTICE!!) LOL. All in all it was a GREAT day, and I Want to thanks Mike Czech and Chad Brousseau and Drew for all their help / support, you guys are cool cats, seriously. They all ran really well all day. Mike got 3rd in Expert A main buggy (he was laying it down really well), and Chad got 1st in A main Sportsman buggy, Im not sure how Drew finished. But anyways, I Learned a lot in my first day, I just need to practice throttle control and powering through obstacles, I tried to stay slow and smooth, but I lost the fine line between the two. I Just need time and practice, The AE car will be in a few weeks!!!!! I hope it helps me out a tad, but I know 95% of it is on the driver, and I need practice, I cant wait to get better

That track deserves it! +1 for my first track, that was tough, lol the surface was loose/dusty as hell and blown out in a lot of turns, and it may be me being a n00b for thinking that, I dunno I have like 3lbs of dust on my real car from them using leafblowers to blow dust off racing surface LOL mash:mash:mash:

Pleased to help anytime. thanks Drew, yeah, I need to learn throttle control, like when to use the power and when not to, Im gonna try to be a little more aggresive next time, but not like carried away, but who knows, maybe I will be comfortable with pushing the AE car a little harder, Im still kinda in that stage where im afraid im gonna break and just wanting to cruise with the Jammin, especially after shock probs and then 3 of my front lower bulkhead screw holes are stripped, I had two screws about half exposed after my 3rd qual, but I do have all new plastic for the front end of the Jammin car when I sell it to help fund the AE car. RC8 here I come!!!! LOL

the track surface blew until the mains when they watered and the moisture stuck around a little bit. My car was pretty good wheel spin and shit humid weather was killing my run time

nice job trevor, you will do fine...already did better than half the guys there and they race all the time, a little more smooth and u be all good.
Mike C...THANK YOU FOR THE PIT WORK........couldnt have won without ya bro. my day was a little weird...got to the track at about 1:30, just in time for my rd2 qual to start with truggy, on warm up i broke a alum servo horn...so much for that, first run with the buggy right after that put me in the b. next round of quals truggy was ok but buggy ran outta fuel in a 5 minute qual????WTF...so at the start of the mains i was 2nd in the c in truggy...lol....what do ya know...leading the race and break another steering servo horn....F!CK. so up next was buggy started 6th and drove a good clean race to 2nd place and thee bump spot, in the A i started 10th and worked my way thru till i was in the lead, after being comfty for a bit there was only 2 minutes left and 2nd had caught me, i bobbled with hardley no time left and he passed me, we each crossed in time to get one more lap and it was very close, about halfway thru he crashed and i passed and held on till i crossed the line, it was by far the closest race i have ever been in and was a total rush.
