Shorewood 4 Seasons bash?
#1
I don't have enough time to race my buggy and more and I pretty much suck at it anyway. I'm gonna pick up bashing more, it's more fun for me and I can run for a while.

Anyone else up for some bashing? It CANNOT be this weekend coming up. (10-11-12) We have Shorewood fest out there this weekend so thats out. I start school again that Thursday (Sad) but oh well, hopefully I can stilll have enough time to mess around.

Lets toss around a few dates and see what we can come up with. Big Grin

lol, come out to Mendota, at the tri-county fair grounds, Hanks 4x4 Jamboree. Truck Pulls, Mudbogs, Monster Trucks etc the 18th and 19th. I think its like 10-15 bucks for 1 day, and 20 for 2. Definatly worth it. If like loud obnoxious things like me.
LSP lots of Khz, Werks .28 8 port.

Revo 2.5, TRX 3.3 Engine, Center Diff. Fast and Turns on a dime.

guys, to me it doesn't matter..

there's a construction site on the side of Empress rd right here, it'd be minutes for you guys from channahon/plainfield.. I don't know if we'd get our asses thrown in jail or not for bashing there..

I'd think all we'd really need is a vacant construction site to take over.. (maybe the new high school in channahon, can we play there?)

Jeff was saying there's a pretty decnt place in braidwood, I've seen it, but didn't look at it.. but it sounds cool.

You guys don't forget about CampMaxx on the 17th,18th, 19th.....Speaking of having a GREAT time.

Imagine camping at a bash with backflip ramps and nice track 30 yds away. Not to mention a Keg of Beer (for you old folks that drink) and it's only $20 a head for the entire weekend, everything included.

guys, I'll have to work around the boss's birthday party the weeekend of the 17th to 19th, but if you guys work something out, I'll make a guest appearance at the party and then go bash..

or we could include a bash session in his back yard as part of the surprise party! he's got one of those well groomed yards that would get all torn up if we played with the trucks in it Big Grin

Tex - if you want to get in on the bash and don't have anything to do it with, I'll make sure I bring something you can use..

well if its worth doing its worth doing rite!! we need to set a date towards the end of the month and start a list of attendees. is it going to be just a bash or a bbq/bash? a bbq bash lets people that have nothing to run still come out for a good time.

Can't happen at the yard. It's a place of business and even though its closed on Sundays we will be too much of a risk. We can't go breaking anything on the cars in the yard, the parts are still for sale.

I'm not sure about what is going on down the frontage rd, Travis, can you take a look? You are only 2 min away.

If we do, do it out at four seasons it can only be a bash and no food. We can do food but we have to get a permit for $25. I don't think it is that big of a deal if everyone were to pitch in $2-3 depending on how many people we have.

Strat if you can give me an idea of where the place is in Braidwood I can try to find it and maybe get some pics of it?

I think the 17-18 is too early to get anything big going anyway.

What about van horn woods? Great parking lot (smooth, no rocks at all!) and huge fields... lots of shade too.

In Plainfield?

If so I used to play soccer there when I was little and the police would be there writing tickets for anyone who was parked on the grass. Plainfield police are pretty bad too.

I say Shorewood, Channahon, Braidwood, etc.

There's no way you could park on the grass, curbs all the way around.

It's on lily cache between caton farm and west rolf rd, on the right side as you're heading north.
