lol this is what he said so im assuming thats what you mean by backed,
Like I said in an earlier e-mail, nitro racing is a harsh environment
for Mirror Chrome paint. So we gave it 3 coats of Createx Gloss Topcoat
to protect the paint. It should protect as well as Parma Faskote, but
with a smoother finish so dirt doesn't stick to it. Be sure and protect
the paint wherever the body touches the chassis, just like the brochure
recommends. Keep nitro off of it as much as possible, no sloppy pitstops
:-) . Enjoy racing at Leisure Hours, that's an awesome track. I have
friends in Plainfield and have raced there at their indoor track.

I'd think shoo goo would work around the body posts but I'd do what mike says and clear it HEAVY so the spillage and splatter won't wear the paint off. shoo gooing the entire body would make it a brick. imo

i got those body post paint protectors for the posts so i dont need shoegooe there, and ill prolly just go w/ the rustoleum b/c i had my last body shoegood but it still cracked.

thats prolly what ill do, i think i have some of that rustoleum but its not clear and i got plenty of shoegoo. The reason this body didint last long was because its was the stock and outdoor i flipped and crashed alot. And you shoegoo it after its cut out right?

its heavy but ur already running a motor thats too big for the car lol, itll be fine, just smear it in and cover everything. Its a little messy but well worth it when nothing rubs off or gets metled off from the fuel

No, F- the body post thingys. You'll just shoe goo over them later anyway when they wear off. Coat the ENTIRE thing in shoegoo.
Looks great.
