Cutting your own x-mas tree
#1
I am not to sure how many of you still put up a real tree but we took the kids to cut down our tree today and they had a blast. I was looking through some of the old threads and noticed that many of you have younger kids like myself. Good way to enjoy some family time. The total cost was $50 for the tree, baling, shaking. The place was pretty cool. when you pull in they hand you a saw and tell you wherever you want to go. This was the first time we ever cut our own tree down and we will most definately do it again next year. Tammen Treeberry Farm is located @ 37131 Essex Rd, Wilmington Il
Hope some of you guys w/ little ones get a chance to check it out

Lol, just cut down a maple. It might look cheesy, but at least you accomplished something constructive. (lol)
