I had a Jammin
IMO the cva's wore quickly .... It was a tough buggy though, and yes it is a conciderable bit heavier than other buggies

they are working on some updated lightweight unis Rocco that hopefully will solve that problem, all the Euro HN drivers have them, but they have'nt made it to the states yet for some strange reason, Chad Bradley doesnt even know why they arent here yet, but they should be soon, HN did release a 48t lightweight spur, so between the outdrives, lightweight crosspins, spur and unis, it should accelerate with the best of the best Smile

do not lighten the chassis, it will affect the x1's CG point, which will in turn possibly make the handling characteristics go right down the tubes. Your best bet is the FTE hardcoat chassis.

Yeah Both my CRT Pro truggy and FTE buggy are very similar in weight. I don't remember the exact weights but I'll bring them into work on monday and weigh them again (with pics this time). The buggy actually feels heavier than the truggy to everyone who picks it up. Upgrade wise the buggy has the lightened front/rear diff cups. Both have the KHZ steering brace and no other upgrades. The lightened diff cups made a difference in acceleration but not a super big one, I mostly notice the difference when letting off the gas in the mid range then getting back on it. I recently purchased CVD's all around but haven't gotten around to installing them. The originals have tons of slop now. However I've been running this buggy for near two years now and I bought it used, I can't remember how many gallons it had on the chassis before i bought it.

Cheesecake, LMK if you decide you don't want to keep the PBS upgrade. I've been thinking about trying it as well. If you decide to sell it I'll buy it off you.

One thing I love about my CRT Pro and FTE buggy is I can beat the piss out of them on ramps. I've had the buggy land directly on the front right wheel nose pointed perfectly down and simply bounce a few feet in the air and not break at all.

ill let you know how i like it. i pretty much have 2 complete sets of the pbs setup. i have a full set of extra arms and a set of the balls and all the hardware minus the upper piece and the hinge pins.
