What foams (probably molded) do you guys think are good for the stock bowties or crime fighters i forgot which, that came with the mbx5r?

So my mugen is running good now, so i kinda want to get some bling on it. Do you guys know what sizes and where to find the countersunk washers that people use on the servo plate(dont know exactly what its called) and the upper plate where the steering assembly bolts under(dont know this one either lol.)? Thanks

A Main Hobbies - Radio Control ( R/C or RC ) Cars, Trucks, Airplanes and Helicopters I like tilted better but I couldn't find them on there (call them though I'm sure they have them).

3 Mil countersunk washers.
You need to get all countersunk head screws too if you want to use those washers.

Ponch you actually don't have to I don't believe. I use regular button heads on mine (well that's what came on it). They work just fine for me.

Yeah but it doesn't look right and then if you use the screws that were already in there, you lose about two or three mm of thread going into whatever it's threading into, so pretty much you have to buy longer button heads (retarded way) or buy the same length countersunk screws (good looking way).

So, what, just go an extra 2 mm on each screw?

Just get the same length but countersunks and you'll be fine.

Sorry Ponch my brain has been fried lately. I'd like to say also that this is just the way mine came when I bought it used. So I'm not for sure (though it probably will look better with the countersunk screws).

Just wanted to let you know. This is where I went and the prices are WAY cheaper than what you will see at online rc shops. You can get like 50 for the price of 5. Plus they have any screw you would ever need. I spent like 20$ and have a bunch of spares left over. Plus their screw are a good quality. I got the black ones. They may not ook as bling but they are way harder than stainless.

Sand the diff cups down until theyre smoothe. Then if u want use the longer screws in them. Oh, and double up those blue diff gaskets. I did all that and mine never leak.

You don't need to sand them down really, but it doesn't hurt. Mine aren't sanded and they're sealed tight.

They will leak a little if you dont sand the cups eventually. I also would use 1 gasket instead of 2 and do not use the little 0rings on the diff pins. My mugen has not leaked a drop in 1.5 years.

These are not Aluminum screw. The bling washers are though. The black oxide screws are sweet and very strong!

Im all about durability. Going to tear into building this mofo tonight. unfortunatly I'll have to pick up some differient diff fluids cause i think stock isnt the best for indoor. not to mention the only set of tires I have are crime-fighters..also not good for indoor. AGGH then TO think i have to buy an engine too! My life sucks!
