Ok....

So I googled the address from RC Hobbies site. It says that it is a little south of ogden ave, and a couple blocks south of the naperville HT.

Correct? I thought it was north of there.

Matt,
Just take RT 59 NORTH from the Naperville Hobbytown.....then look for WENDY's on your RIGHT about 2 miles down. Turn into the Wendy's and it is behind it.

man, I was working on this thing till 2:45am this morning. Everything "should" be good to go. I'm a little worried about my battery pack. Anyone ever tried soldering a pack together with a 60watt iron lol. It dosen't work too well. I ended up heating the tip with a propane torch and trying to work very quickly lol. What a mess. 4 hours to assemble a pack geesh. Time to call cheapbatterypacks.com. Hopefully I didn't destroy a 55.00 pack lol I charged it up and it said it had 9.880 volts so I'm guess ing I didn't destroy any batteries lol
I'm gonna be pissed if this thing breaks on the first rock lol

woohoo. Thanks for a great time guys. (even though I broke) Hopefully I can do this again soon. Now I know all my weak points lol

First let me say that I completely forgot that I brought my camera until it was too late. Then I broke so my share of pics is minimal but here they are. Hopefully next time I can get some more of everybody. Sorry guys.Sad

Congrat's to Javier,Brian, and the NOOB MX Kevin on makin the top 3 in his first comp! Jeff...Sorry for not recognizing you bud! For some reason, I put hoobajoob's face and your name together in my mind. Now I got it lol.

Fun azz day. Alot better than I expected it to be from hype. I will definately go back there for some practices in the future.

Jeff (jetboat) sorry about ragging on your rig all day lol... At least you finished!!!

Kevin...good job dude.

brian...all I can say is WTF lmao dude I don't know how you pull this shit off time after time with that stock azz truck lol

Javier... Nice job bud. Glad to see that jeep working well for you. What broke on the rear axle after the comp?

Awesome day.

Horrible quote from today, way overused lol

"that's what she said"

And Uhh.... I'm not sure of your name but you work at the orland hobby town, have a blacked out ax10 with a bug body and HR rims... You were interested in my Lizard Claw tires (the hybrid ones) if you're on here, drop me a pm and we'll work something out for ya.

nope, just by hand, I think I used to much locktight when I put them on but, I was tired of the hex spinning.

I did manage to get the wifes Talon done, kept it pretty basic no dig or anything fancy....Now just have to get her to compete.

Hey , I just wanted to say that those guys running RC Hobbies are great guys. To take the space and time in their store shows their devotion to the hobby and their customers. My little one wanted one of those helicopters on a stick things that was $2 and he was going to give it to her, very nice but im trying to teach her things cost money. They made us feel very welcome. Allison had no problem driving the crawler through the store and possibly drove the owner nuts. Big Grin We had a great time! Thanks.
