Mini-T Driveshafts
#1
I shattered the second one of these saturday night and was wondering if there was anything too look at that would handle the power of the 8000kv Mamba as well as take some pretty nasty impacts any better?

Well, the problem I've been having won't be fixed by adjusting the slipper so much as not wrecking the truck. First one that I broke was when I slid into some uneven pavement, taking a couple small chunks of plastic out of the left rear wheel, breaking the rear shock tower (factory installed one too, and killed that one last May!) and breaking the the driveshaft at the CV joint. This one was after a couple pretty nasty tumbles on concrete broke the other axle, broke the other rear bearing carrier, one of the steering knuckles (another factory installed part too), and two of the four shock ends!

hehehe, that's about right, even on only 6 cell Ni-MH packs this thing is a little monster! I did get those Integy axles in 2004 so it's not like they were brand new, just that the truck has only been brushless since 2006 and I was hoping there was something more abuse friendly. Believe it or now, I'm still running a gear diff (and that's only diff #2!) in the truck with that motor too! Don't know why, but mine seems to be holding up well considering how many destroyed ones I've seen since these trucks hit the market.
