Roc it has been some years since I ran electric but we used to oil the endbell with some good oil for bearings and bushings. I dont know if that was said or not but it really seemed to help. If you can even do that on the new motors.

I think Ceme has a point there....To me,these things will lose interest if everyone starts modding them. Leave everything stock other then needed changes like tires or whatever.

This is the perfect class for these trucks. Bone stock,rubbin's racin classic fun.

Yeah nice break in info Roc. I have a better way.

1) open truck box,
2) put 8 aa's in radio
3) Charge battery pack
4) install said battery pack
5) once said battery pack is charge install in truck
6) turn truck on, replace body
7) beat crap out of truck til battery dead
8) repeat steps 3-7

I thought this was to keep the racing cheap. Anyhow, Matt and I have been really considering converting a 1/8scale to brushless/lipo. I mean if your going to buy an esc/motor/batt, put it in something that can handle the speed.

Thanks after it was done, it kinda reminded me of the original tmax yellow body.

The stupid traxxas clear stock body doesn't come with decals only window masks. they charge another $10 for the decals that should come with it.
