Micro Rc racing chassis...MR-CG.
#1
Hey,

I thought I'd stop in to show you guysd the latest hot item for Mini-z open class racing. The chassis is called MR-CG and it was designed and fabricated via CNC machine by color0 of Greyscale Racing. He has been at this bad boy for quite some time and finally has reached a order stage at Mini-ZRacer.com - Mini-Z, Kyosho Mini-Z Racer, MR-02, MA-010, iWaver, Custom Bodies, Overland, New Products, Tracks and GTGs, How Fast Are You? Online Points Series, Mini-ZRacer.com Racing Series, Ann Arbor, MI, Members Only, Monster, Washington DC A in the members section of the forum.

Anyhow the design takes some major design features of 1/12th pan car racing and scales it to 1/28th...my photos really don't do enough justice so if you're keen on micro racing (as you know I am) you should visit the public forum area of greyscale racing and check them out in full detail.

In the photos of my car, you'll see I've outfitted mine towards an "open-mod" touring car class. My version was custom built in black graphite and Delrin but there is also a full CF/alloy model that is just dreamy to look at. My racer is outfitted with the following:

Novak Spy esc
Spectrum sr3500
Futaba 3114
Atomic Chilli evolution
custom built "betterpower" 1000mAh aaa pack
a variety of PN Racing, Kyosho and Atomic parts
Tagu super wide rims (15mm rear/11mm front)
all fits under the JGTC Takata NSX 2005

Hey,
that's pretty neat. Where are they raced? What web page has the info on them? I haven't raced these before, and with all the darn classes out there, I don't know how to catch up on the info there is for this kind of class.

You'd probably have to ask around to find a "Mini-Z" or RCP type race track...being an indoor thing I figured some of you who race sedans in the summer would have Z's to keep sharp in the winter.

I mainly focus on micro scale since I sort fo have my own "event" business with these. I have about 32ft by 70ft of my own interlocking RCP foam mat that connects together in any sort of layout and I set up for teen parties and corporate events here in Whistler.

Where would you find one of these cars, such as if you wanted to but one?
