I have a mamba max system with a 6900 motor. That 8000 15c trueRC pack is what I have been running all along (the one that just died over the winter). I think I got... I don't remember. 50something with that batt the last time I was out there? I've been told not to run anything over 3S with the 6900/7700 motors. As it was, I could cook bacon off the motor/esc because it was hot. I also have a Veleneon motor with the standard castle leads on it (the Traxxas bullets are smaller). Its for sale if anybody wants it (not fast enough for meRolleyes).

Admin should send out an email or at least put this thread on the home page. Might get more traffic. I happened upon this thread by chance 2 weeks ago.

Ooo... I've always wondered how much of a difference there was between the 6900 and 7700. What kind of tires did you manage to blow up?

Oh my! I'd hate to think what regular tires would have done? Those slicks have pretty low rotational mass... I'm thinking flying saucers out of regular tires. lol

Lmao, post like this that make me miss my ofna, That thing took a beating! Well except when chris was going down the front straight in stl with it, hit a tree stump and the nose dived it into the turn. Pretty cool but only time it really broke.

Ponch Wrote:HEY

Anyone coming from south of the place, can I hitch a ride please? My recent run in with an illegal mother fucker has left me carless...

I'd be happy to pitch in gas money.
I live about 10 minutes from LH's shop.

an illegal alien stole your car? and he did someone's mother?

when are we talking ponch? I may be interested in going, I can drive, I don't let illegals take my car Big Grin

the only problem is..... I don't have any cars running Sad (well, I think the MT2 still runs) and even my heli's are down as of last night when I realized my transmitter programming was AFU!

EDIT:
Crap. I just checked out my rustler and my 8000mah TrueRc Lipo died over the winter. Great.

I'll be glad to share my heli knowledge with you, or lack of therefore... b ut I'm gonna tell you after trying the blades, helimax, e-flite, generics and t-rex's... well, my t-rex is absolutely amazing! (with the exception of the hosed programming mentioned above, but it still flies better than anything I've ever flown even fucked up!) CP's are a lot of time and work... again, I'll be glad to help... your best bet is to start with a sim.... or hang out and see what others tell you....

as far as lipo's I have a 2200 mah mystery pack that I absolutely think is great! it has all kinds of power and lasts forever....

8000mah???? holy smokes man!!!! I gotta get me one of those Big Grin

Matt/Jeff wanna go?
