Is the 18TM in the greevo a mod motor?? What was the gearing? I have a new respect for that engine.

Hey, didn't someone else have a link to their pictures dropped in somewhere in this thread? I see TTM2's pics, and Brians link, but is there one more? Or is it in a new thread somewhere? Thanks, if you know.
(Thanks TTTM2)

Want a good chuckle? Check out the massive turnout at this Berwyn Bash in 2003. Is this RC thing growing, or what?!

what happened to those jumps?
11-02-2005, 04:54 PM
Wow!! What was there like 8 people?
11-02-2005, 05:35 PM
the jumps got knocked down. its all grown over back there now.
10/8/1871- the great Chicago fire. Approximately 250 people were killed in the fire; 98,500 people were left homeless; 17,450 buildings were destroyed along with the original Emancipation Proclamation.

I wouldn't say it's grown over, just alot of leaves and now some 1-2 foot bumps leftover.

i started in early 04 and the big group was maybe 10 people. Still was fun but man this bash got huge.
11-03-2005, 01:37 AM
I started right around the same time as Michowski. All last Spring and Summer, there were anywhere between 5-10 of us at the Berwyn woods EVERY weekend. This year, there were only 3 main bashes (2 at Berwyn, one at Devry). This past weekend was the Largest gathering yet.
11-03-2005, 01:41 AM
well we would gather more if there was still jumps in the back but o well. And racing has taken people away also.
11-03-2005, 02:34 AM
i'd say there were enough jumps! three ramps from beginner to moderate to advance! next time we need to get an actual race going(course) and the grass drags!

Speaking of ramps, who brought the smaller, but wider, wooden ramp. Looking at the details of that ramp in the pictures...that thing is the work of real craftsman. The side plates are slick! So, who's the woodworker?
Squirrel, next time I'll bring some stuff to lay out a race track. I agree, some kind of racing would be fun. Drag racing was great, but too many guys had already bashed-out of it by then and couldn't drag race. Maybe a little less aerobatics would keep more of the trucks running next time. But that CSRC ramp was too tempting!
11-03-2005, 11:15 AM
The smaller ramp was built by ObsessiveRC. He's quite the woodworker...
11-03-2005, 11:19 AM
My truck couldnt handle that CSRC ramp, plus my son and I's inexperience jumping ramps like that made the damage worse. The grass drags were fun, too bad I lost in the first race of the first round. Damn throttle linkage.
