I figured out my camera phone...
#1
After almost a year I finally figured out how to upload pics with my camera phone...

My first love... My MTB:

A Rocky Mountain slayer worth too much. Fullsuspension, fox rear shock, rock shox psylo race fork with ETX, Thomson stem, chris king headset, Mavic rims, swiss spokes, XT hubx, X.9 rear derrailleur, XT front derrailleur, XT crank, Easton monkey lite carbon bar, and X.0 twist grip shifters. Value... $3000+ :blah:

And 2 quick pics of the new Revo with the LT rockers on. It's on my small parts box and crappy charger for the EZ Start...

And the random Aston Martin DB9 that I had to park next to at Chipotle...

Not too bad for a camera phone. You can really see how well it does in good light by the pic of my bike. Just figured I'd use the pics since I finally figured out how... All Fixed.

Tires for my Revo. Big Grin I still would like them but no I didnt get the PM.

I MTB at palos for something close and have been known to frequent kettle morraine as well as some trails in peoria. When spring rolls around we will get some riding done. It will be too muddy the rest of the year, and then to frozen to get any good trail riding in.

I have a few buddies that I ride with around here that would probably want to go as well. (They are my bike shop hookup) Besides that Rocky mountain I have a Kona scrap and then a custom made holland road bike. I will get pics of those up when I can. I will be taking a 2 week mountain biking trip of the west next summer for my graduation. I hope to visit moab, bryce, arches (all utah) as well as south dakota (again) and colorado. should be a good time.

01' Mustang Cobra 245/45/17. I dont know what i want to go with yet, Ive been running conti extreme contacts for 2 years now. There a good " alll weather " tire but they certainaly didnt hold a candle to the MANY differnt performance tires ive had. But they did ofer excelent traction in the white stuff

Let me try getting you prices on:

Goodyear:
-Ultragrip (a newer tire with great wet/winter traction and still good performance)
-F1 (Great summer tire with great wet/dry traction but pack easily with snow)

Michelin:
-Pilot Sport (Good performance decent treadwear summer only)
-Pilot Sport PS2 (High performance summer only)

BF Goodrich:
-G-force T/A KDW (High performance summer only)

I will also see what else I can find for good performance year round tires. It is just hard to get good summer/winter tires in a 17" or larger wheel. I would have reccomended the goodyear assurance (awesome triple tread) but they only come in a 16". Let me see what I can do. If you have any that you are looking at, a price range, and when you would want them that would be helpful too.

Rocco, we get all our tires from the tirerack.com. All we have are decent take offs. But for some reason every stang we get has had bald tires. :bustingup

Impossible! Half of them are v-6's with cobra stickers.

While we're on the topic of bikes, I traded a new JR8450 servo for this byke. I think I got a good deal. It's a Gary Fisher. It's fun to ride. The seat hurts me rather badly though... Smile

Very nice entry level dard tail. I would say its a good trade. Gary Fisher makes great frames. I am still kicking myself for getting a dyno and not a fisher when I was in grade school. Oh well...

I will check and see availability on those and the assurance (goodyear site says they don't have them in a 17 but my buddy thinks he has them in stock. Great new triple tread technology. Wickid cool)

Anyway... I will get you a regular price on 4 of either of those as well as my 20% off price. Big Grin Better than nothing right??

hmm.. a hookup on tires. I'll have to keep that in mind. I got some Goodyear Eagle F1 GSd3's for the summer and some dunlop Graspic DS2 for the winter both on their own set of wheels. Its soo much better having specific winter/snow tires on a seperate set of wheels for the winter.

On to freeride bikes.. I sooo wish I had the money (and good medical ins) to pick up a freeride bike. Used to have a buddy that let me ride one of his once in a while. My fav was his Specialized P3 tha had a nice fork on it. ohh well some day.
-- John --
1:1.. 01 Z28 Camaro A4 Sure.. its stock.
1:8's.. K3, Inferno GT, and a straight line beater car
1:18.. RC18t Mamba and 3s lipo

The eagle F1's are nice but ONLY for summer. When I run into some money I will probably buy a set of 18" wheels for summer tires and just put winter tires on my stock 17"ers.

As for bikes... let me know if you ever want one. I have quite a few local freeride connections. They are always buying new bikes and if you are patient you can get a great deal on a great bike. They are all top of the line and in great shape. I also get a discount at the local bike shop. I have turned into one of those "people with connections" I have learned that in life it's good to know people...
