Dont Bake Response Tires!!!

Rocco, I thought we had this conversation before. That's why I boil my tires off. Water boils at 220 degrees F no matter how long the tires are in there. Just a thought...

I think the reason people set the oven so high, is because you are then supposed to turn the oven OFF. Then when you put the tires in, the bake off and gradually cool. But I just boil mine too.

Probably, and I wouldnt reccomend using guerilla glue any more, stick with the PL CA glue

Does boiling ruin the foam???? I have trinity 3 stage in some tires that i want change rims on and id like to keep the foams

boiling will ruin them. At least they did the 2 times I tried boiling. Oven method leaves everything perfect with the tire off the rim.

the oven thing will ruin the foams, atleast u will not get the same consistency as before, they will be very soft. If you wanna save the foams use the acetone method without gettin the tires wet

lol I used to bake my tires, IMHO its not worth it run them till they suck and then keep em for practice tires, then give em away to anybody who wants em lol Smile
