So my M11 came in yesterday...
#1
I ordered up a package deal for a M11 and spektrum off of ebay almost 2 weeks ago. Finally the packaged arrived yesterday (I'm not too mad because I did buy just before the holidays). I'm all excited, open it up, and no spektrum. WTF? I looked through the rest of the box, no where to be found. I emailed the guy right away last night around 5:30pm. Still no word Sad.

God I hope he doesn't screw me over. Sad. Turns out he is local too. I hope this gets resolved quickly, or I'm screwed for this weekends race. Sad

Guy goes by the name 'powerhobbyy' on ebay.

Eliminates having to get a frequency clip and someone else running your channel.
Runs off of 2.4 ghz band. Built in failsafe also.

It replaces the transmitter and receiver modules of the standard radio system. It automatically "finds" open frequencies and locks onto one for you, ensuring that nobody else is in conflict. It's better than synthesized FM for lots of reasons, but the "not having to change channels, ever" is a big selling feature. Because of the band it operates on, it's more resistant to noise from outside sources. It's nice, if you have the coin.

would this spektrum work or not?
do you have to have a specific radio or not?
how would you install it?

thanks, traxxas thrasher

I believe that's a handheld thing for you pit guy to monitor your car with while you race. Doesn't look like it need any specific radio to work.
