I like to call those the "Kill you with Kindness" warranty. Sure it's free but if it's always breaking and you're always sending and waiting for parts, what good is it. Maybe Duratrax is good about strong parts, never owned one yet.

The Vendetta, is a good 1/18th buggy, compared to the Kyosho Half8. The Half * electronics are terrible and it is tremendously slow. I hate to bad mouth Kyosho because I love the full size inferno, but the mini version is really not built that well. A couple a friends of mine have these and they have alot of trouble with them.

I was thinking about a Vendetta when I was looking for something to replace my Mini-t. They had one at HTSC that I looked at. Only problem is the duratrax name in there. I also heard you can get them in Kit from overseas on ebay rebadged as the Anderson MB-4 (or mabey the duratrax is a rebadged MB4? dunno).

As for the Kyosho Half 8 well when it comes to Kyosho anything they make that is RTR is grabage. Complete junk and should be avoided like Bird flu.
