Possible to go to production, the new 6.1L Hemi Dodge Challenger R/T. Dodge might have finally got it right this time.

That will take business away from Mustang! I always loved that "Coke bottle" rear quarter styling. Might have to buy it if they ever make it. It'll be $40k though....

At the dealer I work at, they have 4 orders already for the Challenger. Said to be out on the market in April/May. Price range 28-44 for one. Thats what I heard.

SWEET... I think that will be the first car in a while that Dodge has made with 2 doors. It was a shame to see the Charger released as a 4-door.

I really like the look of the headlights, and the functional Ram-air.

Feb 06 issue of Motor Trend has that car on the cover. The story inside says it's a concept car that could make it into production for model year 2010, when Chrysler retools for a new RWD platform.

Chrysler has turned some other show-concept vehicles into production models - Viper, PT Cruiser, and 300.

They already stick the 400hp Hemi into everything they can from car, to Jeep, to pickup. So let's see if the demand gets them building it for the street.

I'll take mine in orange. Just like my Camaro.

I love the look of that car except whas the deal with Mopar putting such skinny tires on their cars! Kills the look with a 7" wide rim and 205 width tire on their cars. hell my neighbors Hemi Magnum looks like its got bicycle tires on the thing.

And that's why wheels are bolted on. So you can change them out so easily!! That car looks like a Foose design sketch.

Dave, they dont have to re-tool for a RWD platform. They'll use the Magnum, 300 and Charger platforms. Which is Mercedes already.
