I ran Inside jobs in M2 compound w/grey molded foams and ran some C compouns swithes w/ stock white foams and both gripped the track awesome.
On the LSP, I ran C compound Boa's with grey foams and they worked awesome as well.
Set on the buggy was being changed around all day so I cant give results just yet.

Surprisingly enough the stock revo tires with almost all of the tread did fairly well. I think they were stiff enough to where they did not grab traction instantly in a turn, causing a traction roll. They worked well. I will still probably pick up a set of used bowlines or something... (definitely want to get the radio working first...)

I had alot of fun out there. Nice facility and nice people.
p.s. Hey squirrel, they will be closed on Mondays if I'm not mistaken. That's the only day of the week the track closes. This was just a special occasion being new and all.

Oh... and just wondering... Was anyone driving a buggy with a bright body that someone had to jump over on the straight?? Just want to know who it was... I went to flip a car on the straight and almost got pegged by a buggy. I remember seeing it, jumping up and wathcing it go right under my feet. The cool part was all of the gasps from the driver's stand. lmao

Well I haven't been to LH yet, but have been looking forward to it for a while now, and now that 1/18th is coming soon, my 18T and Mini-LST are ready. Same with my T4. But I was wondering in the electric races is there a class for like E-Maxxs?

Cory, good to hear you will be racing 1/8 scale again The tire to run is defenately C-compound switches with Panther green molded foams. The green foams will hold up longer than the stock ones.

Molded foams huh ? I've been running the stocks with the weatherstripping trick. The molded foams work better Sonny ?

Molded foams hold up longer and do create a more rounded carcass that makes the car easier to drive and less twitchy. The switches are a flat carcass tire that are made to gain more traction but as we all know LHR has traction up the yang yang and all that traction can get you into trouble (traction roll !!) Weather stripping trick works but the stock foams break down quikly from all the force of the tire being shifted back and forth from all the grip on the track. Hope this helps.
