Here is a logo I have been working on. Give this one a shot right now the background color is a pantone swatch, and isnt as bright as I like it but the color can be changed. I was thinkin tshirts and what not. I am working on more, searching for that ideal design to creat brand recognition. When people see the logo they instantly know where your from.

I am looking for a good sharp action pic that does not crop into the tires, so I can make a line drawing to drop into the logo. If you guys wanna see different colors just let me know. Gimme your thoughts

I tried to come up with a graphic that was representative of ChitownRC. I thought CSRC was just a general style that typified chicago rc bashers and racers. PLus I liked how the letters flowed together.

CSRC is still fine to use. IMO

CSRC is the "Group Name" for all of us. Chicago Style R/C.

I like the logo PopRC. Looks good.

Here is another with a little RC truck graphic. It looks choppy but I cant save it without the image pixelating on me because of the format.

I'm really liking the outline of that revo! Do you have a bigger, hi-res version on hand? It's giving me some nice ideas. I'd love to have the psd for it, if you don't mind Smile.

newguy, see that revo outline towards the bottom? I'm hoping he has that in hi-res, around 2000X2000 area. If so, it's going on a shirt along with some other stuff I have in mind.

I was going to use satoch's revo but the outside wheels were cropped off at the edges, so I found another one on SGRID.

Tune,
That outline of the revo is 600x400 pixels at 300ppi. I can Up-Res it I am sure pretty well to fit your needs.
The whole logo is 5x7 inches at 300ppi

I was doing some research on cafepress and their recommendation for logos on the front of shirts is 2000x2000 at 200dpi (10"x10") to get good quality prints on shirts. I can downsize if need be with good quality, but I don't know how to up size without making it all distorted looking.

With that said, if you could upsize the revo outline pic to the 2000x2000 area, that would be great! Send the psd here: [email protected] and I could have shirts available for everyone through cafepress in under a week. That outline is exaclty what I had in mind for a shirt design!

Why a revo???

Just kidding,

John have you ever gone to truggyracers.com they had someone make a cool logo for a banner, might be a cool look. Not saying copying it but just an idea

I could make one like that, well at least similiar to it if ya wanted. But usually you want logo identity to be as unique as possible.

I have other logos in the works, but as I stated in another thread the studio I work for is going down the tubes.

The outline of the revo is a great idea for the shirts.

I was thinking of something very simple. "Chitown R/C" in big lettering at the top, the revo outline in the middle, and "www.chitownrc.com" in small lettering at the bottom. Very simple and to the point. Only 1 color would be needed, which is what I'm looking for. We could have grey shirts with black lettering and black shirts with white lettering, etc.

I like simple Smile.

george, the logo on truggyracers.com is cool as hell. Simple and to the point. It can translate easily onto shirts, stickers, hats, etc. While I don't want the same design, is a good logo to use as reference for what I'm looking for.

Are you looking for something squared off where the text is horizontal or more like the one I made with the CSRC (where the text is arching around) in the middle but with the revo outline there instead? What dimension for T-shirts?
