db, I may be wrong, but I think "Shock Pack" referes to when you rebuild shocks. When you cap the shocks, and compress the shock, it has a rebound, even without a spring. After building shocks, I usually push the shaft all the way in, and let it rebound on its own. I then do this with the other shock. Check to see if they have the same rebound. I usually try to get it to where all 4 rebound about tthe same, but most importantly, that the Left and Right match.
If I'm wrong about this, I hope someone clarifies.....

You guys let you shocks rebound alot of just alittle ? I think if they rebound too much, theres too much fluid in the shock. I get them where they rebound just a slight bit and then throw them on this Losi shock matcher thing I got =P

That, or if the post is long, and you only want to quote a section of it, Click and Drag over the text you want to quote, right-click and select copy. When you get to the reply box. select the quote symbol and paste the selected text in that spot. If you use the "Quick Reply" at the bottom of the page, you have to click the quote symbol before and after the text. If you use the "Advanced Reply", when you click the quote symbol, it opens a text box. Just add the text and click OK.

On longer shocks, I try to keep the rebound to around 3/8", on the Revo shocks, I try to keep it under 1/4".

You guys rule, I'm smilin' ear to ear! So pack = shock rebound. Out of my leauge for now as far as how it impacts a set-up, but maybe later. . . :joy:

I guess now is as good as later.... lol
If you have too much shock oil in the shocks, it will rebound too much. What this will do, is in a sense, make your shocks harder to compress. If you use 50 wt oil, it will seem like you are using a thicker oil, and have a stiffer feel. If you have too little oil in the shocks, it will not rebound at all, and seem a little too plush.

Sorry to hear about that quickturn. I am going to try one tho' 'cause it approximates the handling of some old 4wd electric buggies I used to run (Yokomos), only for my Revo. I really want to try a center diff tho', waiting to see who comes out with the first good kit. Anyway, thanks for the set up info. I'll try it out.. Later - DaveB :joy:

Is the resonator pipe only available as a single chamber, or they offering a dual as well?

I will probably pick up a set when the LHS gets them. Good thing I will be getting a job at my bike shop too. That will support my biking expenses. Then Trader Joes will pay for college/RC/real car.

And when they are back in stock, the "kit" with both sides and extra hardware needed is only $13 on Stormer. I'm backordering it....
