IPOD Nano Help
#26
Thanks Joe,

I got it figured out, you can not do a manual update and use your ipod when connected to computer. I switched it to auto update and problem solved

I was having the same problem with the one I just bought last week too. Didn't realize it had anything to do with manual/automatic updating. You can go to Apple's site too and check the support area. If you ITunes shows that the music update is complet, and you are still getting the DNC message, just go to you Windows taskbar, by the clock, and click on the "safely remove hardware" icon, then just follow the prompts.
