I am looking for an entry level airbrush and compressor.
What does anyone have for sale or trade? Nothing too fancy, please. Budget is limited.

I have a couple of airbrush compressors I don't use anymore. Let me check in the shed and see if they're still ok. They worked fine last time I used them, so I'm sure they're still fine. If so, we can work something out, I'm sure. PM me if interested.

I just started with airbrushing and went to Menards and picked up a 2g air compressor for less than $60.
I works and I don't have to just use it for that.
I also bought the Badger Hybrid brush for $100.
All this for under $200 is pretty good budget I would think.

you probally could run one to the basement, it would be a good idea to put a regulator valve on the pipe you put in so you wont have to run up to the garage every time to make sure there isnt too much pressure.

I'm gonna give this some thought. I do have regulators I can use. I would most concerned about a water trap. Compressor outside in cold garage and air being released under pressure indoors in warmer area. I suspect moisture in the line.

DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 Wrote:Bio, but it's in the garage and I want something I can use in the basement "workshop" (laundry room). So I want it to be a quiet style unit. Maybe I could just run hardpipe from the garage......?
I have one in a bedroom I use for the hobby room.
It is a lil noisy not all that bad but with the amount of pressure I need it does not go off all that often.
I use it to clean out bearings and my truck, fill up bike tires ans I also have an air pencile grinder I use it for.
I too was looking but found that this was the best bang for the buck.
Just trying to help and save you a few or more if I could.
Good luck and I hope you find waht you are looking for

Ok, this much I know. The compressor is a Paasche model D. 1/4 hp electric motor that runs on household 110vac. It delivers 1/2cfm at 20psi pressure and can produce 40psi at lower volume.
This compressor is as simple as a brick, and weighs in at around 20 pounds.
If there is any interest, let me know and I will get pictures and listen to offers on price. Otherwise it goes eBay.
