I'm in Mike's line. LoL As soon as he says that he is getting close I am going to get him a body to mask off and do some spray doodling on...

I am looking to get a set of Boas for the LSP. Can anyone post some links to a good price on the tires, what wheels you reccomend, as well as foams??
(And any pro gluers want to help me out???)
02-27-2006, 12:41 AM
Ryan you are as bad with that link as the rest of the computer using world is with google...
02-27-2006, 12:47 AM
you had a question and i gave you an answer. Either stock foams or Racers edge foams.
02-27-2006, 09:35 AM
Stock foams in Boas. No need for RE foams.
10 bucks a tire and I'll glue them up. =)
02-27-2006, 02:32 PM
Ill do it for 7 a tire . hehehehehhehehehehehe

LoL... I more want someone to maybe show me one. I have always just glued up cheap or old tires so if they were a little off it was no big deal. I would want these on there balanced and as good as I could get them. Would anyone be willing to show me that?? And what CA do you guys use?? The super thin wattery stuff or thicker??
02-27-2006, 07:13 PM
Super thin works for tires for me. Just get some debonder when you pick some CA up, or you'll be sticking with your tire choice more than I think you would want to...lol

I used Losi medium thickness...it doesn't run all over the place. Glueing the Boas was piece of cake on velo's. The tire bead is SO thick you can pull back about 1/2 of the tire and in two moves glue 90% of the bead. Go back later and hit the two last spots and BAM, it's done!

Fusion Tire Glue is the best IMO. I've glued up alot of tires and stuff is the best.
Tire glueing for free is long gone. Gotta pay if you want a top notch job. =P

I use BSI IC-2000...specially made with rubber just for tires, plus its black and doesn't chalk up and turn white.
02-27-2006, 09:35 PM
And how much is it?? And would you be willing to show me hoto do one properly and maybe supervise some of the others?? If I buy new tires I want to do it right... (Or do you have a set of boas sitting on that shelf that you want to sell?? LoL)
02-27-2006, 09:39 PM
Not on the shelf...but in the box....let me see....yup...but those are mine!!!
02-27-2006, 09:39 PM
Not nice. LoL... so would you be up for giving me a quick glue demo sometime???
And are you sure you are going to be using those??? LoL
