Revo
#1
is the new RC car action truck of the year.

Shocked anyone?

I like seeing all the new vehicles and all the differences in the vehicles that we all have. Heck I may even be interested in getting the Revo, but only when it gets down to the price of a good used T-maxx. Too bad for the LST and TNX, maybe they will get it right next year. I think the TNX had the best chance to compete with the Revo but the LST is just a $300 truck with a $300 radio system.

I was impressed when I first saw firesprink's Revo at Berwyn. I still have the picture in my head of it going straight up a fairly decent size curb like it wasn't even there. It's on my tower hobbies wish list so hopefully the wife gets my hint.

i found some jumps by my place, and its good at flying too!!

well when i was at berwyn with it the curbs were like nothing. The jumps were just so much fun. It flies so beautifully and it took all the punishment i gave and just drove it off lol. I dont care if everyone hates this truck but to me this is gonna be one of the best trucks to have for a year or so just like the t-maxx was. Cept this truck is a lot better.

who is complaining that they hate the REVO? Usually its someone either new to R/C and this is their first truck or its someone who doesn't have one, but really wants one.
Its a really nice truck that takes punishment and yes it will break, but it takes a lot to get some really good damage on it. But the performance aspect is where it really shines. This thing is beating bigblocks and taking corners like its a buggy. Whats really not to like.

If you see too many people complaining about the Revo you must be going to a Savage or LST web site...J/k. It's like anything where people get this brand loyalty thing going and everything else sucks. Too bad they would be the first ones to buy whatever it is they are complaining about if given the chance to. I have a Savage, Emaxx, and a mini t all from different makers and I couldn't care less. If it looks good to me and I like it I will probably buy it.

Maybe if Traxxas got their shipping schedule together better, i'd have good things to say. My buddies been waiting 8 weeks for his new Revo and STILL the LHS doesn't have it...He was supposed to get one from the 2nd shipment, but they only got 1 shipment on july 20th or something. Who's in charge of the supply/demand curve at traxxas?? The truck looks mean, but i've been reading that it can't take the accidental abuse that the savage does! PLUS, how long will it take to get replacement parts considering the shops can't even get their initial units! I'm extremely happy with my savage, and about to me more happy now that I got 4 gears in the diff! WoooHaaaWoooHaaa! Wink

My LHS has been without REVO's for a few weeks now. They just got the first shipment of replacement parts in: a few upper and lower a-arms, axle carriers, and thats about it. Thats sad. I went there looking for driveshafts cause I will be outfitting my T with them and they still did not have any. Thanks to ebay I already have one to test with.

hey it was 100x worse when the original pro .15 maxx came out. I got soo frustrated with the parts situation I sold my first Pro .15 maxx off. It took a month to get a replacement arm!!! Then a couple months later traxxas caught up to demand and I ended up buying another one and I've had it ever since.. kinda.. Rolleyes

DO-U-MAXX, your fitting REVO driveshafts to a T-Maxx? LMK how that turns out! actually I still have my stock sliders from when the 2.5 maxx first came out, with no problems yet. I have no reason to quit using them.

That might be an interesting upgrade... They look to be about the same size, with the benefit of having the dust boots on them...

they are definetly not the same size! they are like double the size. Those are some fat little suckers

My mistake, I meant lengthwise.... thickness might cause a problem....

yeah, now that its down, it'll be the right time to do it. The stockers work for me too, but heck these things look awesome and are HUGE!!!!!!!!!!! how cool would it be to have all four revo axles on a T.

I'm bidding on an Airtronics 200oz .10/sec servo now, hope to get it and have her running by next week.
