Who here's has one? What model? Do you like it?

I've got a creative nomad 30gig right now (it's old) and went to take a look at the latest and greatest ipods over at best buy earlier. Low and behold, there was a hottie working in that department. I felt compelled to ask her about it just to strike up some conversation with her Smile. Boy, did she ever lay down a convincing sales pitch! Well, it was either that or I was simply agreeing with everything she said because she was cute.

It was pretty damn hard telling her that I need to think about it versus just cracking out the plastic and buying on the spot. So, with that said, are ipods worth it? I may just go back and talk to her some more later this week or next.

Funny thing is, had she been working at the lhs, I would have walked out with a new truck and spent twice as much than that ipod was worth easily. (it was the 30g video one, $299).

I also have the Itrip fm modulae for it. Makes it nice to listen in the car.

Creative Nomad Zen here. 30 gig. its years old and I've had no problems plus Half the price of the Ipod's. Also the Zen uses a 2.5" Laptop Hard drive. I could upgrade my Nomad Zen to 100gigs if I wanted. hehe.

I don't get that Ipod video thing. 2" screen? Its a waste. Ohh wait they probably have the IMag Ipod Maginifying glass for $150. lol!

LOL@john!!!

A buddy gave me an ipod that he had broken the screen on. I need to find out which ipod it is and where to buy just the screen for it. I already took it part(pretty easy actually).

other than that I have a Creative Zen nano 512mb. I love the thing. extremely easy to use click and drop operation and holds about 70 to 80 songs and battery lasts 18 hours plus at 70 buck you can't beat the price.

I've never had an Ipod or any mp3 players. I barely bought my first cd early last year because I couldn't find new cassette tapes anymore.
Anyone want to buy a tape deck Sony walkman?? it's from 1989 and is in decent shape still.
