When Friday rolls around and we know the weather for Saturday, post a time/place you want to hook up. If the temps are less than 40, I probably won't show. My revo runs like crap when it's below 40 out... and battery packs die fast when it's that cool out as well.

So... how many of you are showing up? I don't want to make the trip and waste the day standing out there alone... I can do that here in Dekalb... without the drive.
Doesn't look like it's going to warm up until about 12...

I know me and doubledoor will be there probably sometime around 1100 1130. I have a Savage 4.6SS and I think he is goping to bring his Hellfire and one of his Savages. The more that are there the more fun we will have.

I've never been there... I posted directions for myself up above. Is there an obvious place that you guys will be at? Or should I just show up around 11:30-12 and listen for the nitro's running?

It will be obvious! on the far side of track, by the end.

I'm going to leave here around 10:30 which should get me there around 11-11:30 depending on if I get lost... I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to directions.
I google mapped the place and I think where I have the arrow in the upper right hand corner is where the actual bmx track is. I'm sure this image is old though:

but the problem is, I need an address to be able to punch it in my gps, if there isn't an address for that, is there an address of something right near it?

Finding the track itself was a PITA! But man, was it fun!
I really messed up my ankle at some point. When I went to get out of my car after coming home, I couldn't hardly stand...
Did you clear the little shelter thing with your hellfire?
Thanks again for letting me use your charger... although, if I hadn't of charged my revo back up, I wouldn't have broken it... but it was a cool crash. I was surprised at how well my revo kept up with the savages. All that horsepower didn't do a whole lot of good on the track itself. But that hellfire sure does move on the open flats!

sorry to hear about your ankle. No I couldn't get the arm to stay on the hellfire.

Yeah I had a pertty good time also. The track is a fun place to go. I dont think we will be able to run there once it gets warm. Hey olds97 did your revo break when you and the savage hit? If it did i have that on film, I just need to figure out how to get it on my pc.

No... it broke when I cased the double running at WOT. The RPM arms flex so much that it snaps the knuckle on the axle. This is the second time I've had that happen.
So far, from all the beating of today, that's the only damage I've noticed.
Supposed to be a high of 34 with rain/snow tomorrow... looks like we picked the right day! We will have to do it again before the track gets used for actual BMX'ing in April.
I know it's kind of early to tell (weatherman are always wrong), but next Saturday is supposed to be in the low 50's...
Found some more broken stuff... broke one of my RPM arms.
And the axle:
