3.3's Are AWESOME!!!
#1
Man I just got mine yesterday...Did break in following Traxxas' reccomendetions...Last tank of break in and I can't keep the front wheels on the ground with factory settings and stock pipe!!! This thing is awesome. Running 15/40 right now but will probably go 15/38 soon just to keep the wheels on the ground...Naa who am I kidding, rolling wheelies are awesome!!! And that's with T-Maxx tires! I would be out running now but I fried BOTH CB bearings last night...That was fun getting the cb off the crankshaft and then the bearings out of the clutch bell...I can't wait to strap on that nice shiny THS pipe. I should have gotten one yesterday, but somebody (COUGH COUGH DMR15) already bought the last freggin one earlier that morning!!! Thanks for your help yesterday Kyle....So yeah I'm probably outta commision till tommrow when I can run up to LH and get new CB bearings... Started decently, I threw some ARO into the motor before I started it...Needed some gas to start on the first tank, but after that ran strong and never cut out during break in. I can't wait to get this beast on the track...I'm going to need that center diff now just to get some power to the ground....I would say that if you got the money definetly get one...I had my TRX15 laying around from a 1st gen maxx I had way back when, so I traded that in....The guy at LH gave me the WTH? look when I handed that motor to him for the trade in lol....So yeah here's some quick pics, I'll try to get some action ones when the action happens lol.

That mill should be able to give you wheelies on command with 16/36 gearing! Dump that 15/40 combo and get setup for some speed!!!

I know I could easily wheelie with the 18tm and 16/36 gearing. Shouldn't be a problem for the bigger TRX3.3.

I'd bet it could! I richened it from factory though, during breakin it was getting near 260...If I lean it out, I can't imagine what it'll do!

Also, think I should drop in the wide ratio gears?

i ran 15/36 and wide ratio and I was pulling wheelies with ease. Thats 4 teeth higher then stock gearing.

RadRC.com also has a 3speed for the Revo... 3-Speed

How much did it cost to do the engine swap at LH? I know it was $100 for the 2.5r.
