The move is finished!
#1
Well guys, the move is all done. Please respond to this thread and let me know how the site's running.

I've got my fingers crossed that were not going to have stupid errors, double posts, and other issues due to a super slow server.

So far everything is looking good for me Smile

I turned the boards off on the old server (last night around 9pm), backed up the site and moved it over. Once the move was complete, I opened the board up on the new server. Set the dns, and prepared to wait it out since I have no control over the propagation. It can take anywhere from a few hours to 3 days to complete. I had my fingers crossed it would be quick so the only downtime was overnight. When I woke up, I was suprised to see everything working already, lol. I got lucky Smile.

Anyways, as of about 6:30am today, the site is on it's new server Smile.
