Man, that thing rips! It can almost keep up with my kanai motor!!! lol...It beats my picco g1 down the street by about 5 feet, but the kanai is about equal to the modded tz.

I put the traxxas extended chassis on and I have the setback arms. Suspension is set soft and low....it wheelies no problem with the slipper semi tight and the 1/8 clutch.

The top end is even sicker...I think I need to gear up a little though, 15/38 is too much low end. I am going to try 16T cb next.

I was blowing everything away in MT at CampMaxx. I was keeping up with NR powered truggies on the straits, this motor is completely sick.

Tex-
Is the trans holding up better to its power delivery? I know the NR was hell on it for you.... Not sayin the NR was better but maybe its power was much less refined and didnt come on as smooth

well i ran mine on sunday and it pretty much rips...sucked that i had to run with truggies. i havent had any driveline problems yet....knock on wood lol

Trans and driveline seems fine. I have 1+ gallons on the motor now and everything has been good cept the flywheel and collet need a better fit. Flywheel kept coming loose at CampMaxx knocking me out of racing. I just need to try a little bigger collet.
I'm not saying this motor is faster than my ebP5 I had ALL AROUND, but tho TZ is sicker on the top. I think the 2050 pipe I was running with my P5 was taking away some top.

that's the hard crappy way to do the installation IMO. I'd rather move the tranny forward a couple mm than to cut the crank. Plus when you move the tranny forward you can run an 1/8 clutch.

That is not the way I did it either when I had my EB TZ in the revo. But it is away to do it without drilling new holes.
