traxxas thrasher Wrote:i tihkn the burm needs to be a foot higher....maybe then you wouldnt have cars flying over the berm?

Its big enough... You gotta learn to hit the brakes! LOL!!!

...And the reason he had the cement things so deep into the corner is so that we would hit the berm hard and ride it around so we would pack it

Am I the only one who didnt fly over the berm that day?
I thought it was just fine and I didnt have a problem with the concrete either, maybe its because I know how to use my brakes? Big Grin

When I didn't have my brakes setup like I like em (they were front 100%, rear 75%, I like it the other way around) I ended up sideways pinned up against the cement block lol...

How? The rear end would slide out, and when I got back on the gas it was sideways and into the cement.

having it the other way around would make the rear end slide out. When you lock up the rear wheels the car wants to rotate or follow the front because the front wheels are still turning and driving the car so to speak. You would be taking ur rear traction away with all rear brake so if u went around a turn on the brakes it would break loose. With all front brakes, to a certain point it would just stop, unless u had them ridiculously tight so that it endos lol

Idk wtf is up then lol...When I had more front brake, the rear would be everwhere. When I have more rear brake, it stays straight unless I turn. Now that I think of it, I may want to mess with it to get just a little slide in the rear so that I can get around turns faster, instead of pushing thru them.

ya the K3 does have a bit of push, i would start off with 50/50 on the brakes, and from there u are gonna have to pick one and adjust ur driving style a bit. if you want the rear end to rotate a bit more, go with like 40/60 etc but then u just have to make sure on the turn where u have a big run up to them that u hit the brakes and then turn after u left off as u will just spin out if u try to turn with the brakes on, but on tight corners and stuff it helps because u can go into the turn hard and stab the brakes and the car will want to swing around the 180* turns and stuff like that. it all comes down to driving in the end
