nope got it in a trade. this car for my help..... got this a bunch of little things (screws, setscrews, linkages, horns, 2 nitro plane motors)

It's a legit job. It's actually sad, I get paid better from the R/C job than I do ay my regular job. Too bad the hours aren't more stable.

I may be WAY off, but the chassis actually kind of looks like an old Tamiya Grasshopper that has been modded to make it a Stock car.
Gotta get an ESC and decent motor on there, and run it on the track.

I think newguy is right.. it looks just like an old grasshopper but this has some funky foam tires and a stock car body on it.

Yep thats a Tamiya Hornet for sure, I had one just like it with homemade sprint car body on it back in the day, a few years before dentguy said! ORC I was getting kicked out of high school in 90 mash: lol. Man now I feel old:headbang:

That's right, I forgot the Grasshopper had the side rails on it, the Hornet did not.

i think i got it going with the stock motor and a mc230cr esc.... both batts are dead tho will post up if it works

Grasshopper had a solid rear axle pod mount to the chassie. the rear wheel moved up and down together. the hornet had a flexable mount so the rear wheels could move more independent. Side rails came on both. Look like it has a C R P motor mount so you can change gears. don't remember M I P making parts for them. C R P was the hot ticket for after market parts. stock three speed speed control. bolink wheels. 540 motor which came on the hornet stock. grasshopper came with a 380 but could upgrade. rear shocks are not stock. stock was plastic. I think they are C R P. looks like home made body mounts.
