Switching Fuels
#1
I have run just about a gallon through my engine. Is it ok if I switch fuels? So far I have run Traxxas Top Fuel, and wanted to experiment with others, but was not sure if it was good for the engine or not.

It's fine to switch fuels, but you will need to re-tune for the different fuel. If you go up in Nitro content, you will have to richen slightly. From what I have heard, if you go up nitro content, you shouldn't come back down (Not that you would want to after seeing the performance gain).
I'll keep my God, my freedom, my guns, and my money. You can keep "THE CHANGE."

+1, don't go down once you go up in nitro. Feel free to switch brands, you'll just need to re-tune.

I like Byron, but I'm hoping to pick up a gallon of Werks.

I use the sidewinder ATM. Never have to do afterrun because of it. Infact, they tell you NOT to do afterrun. I just got a quart of werks 30%,going to see how well that does.

I like Byrons the best. I would stay away from Trinity plat 30. I had a hard time tuning with that.
